Operation Love

Quilters affect eternity, they can never tell where their influence stops.

We are always in need of news members to join us. No previous quilting or sewing skills are needed.

Meeting time- 1:30 pm on the 4th Monday of the month

If you are unable to attend our quilting sessions at the church, but are willing to cut squares at home or make baptismal blankets, please contact the church office. 

75-100 quilts were made and donated last year. 

In addition to giving quilts to organizations such as women's shelters, the Banquet, the Gospel Mission, Children's Inn, and the local Food Pantry, Operation Love makes a quilt for each child baptized at American Lutheran and each outgoing vicar.

 We are always in need of the following materials:

  • Cotton fabric

  • New flat sheets, queen or double size

  • Crochet thread for tying quilts

  • Flannel, baby prints

  • Cash to buy needed supplies
